BRIDGING GEN Z AND THE LOCAL CHURCH
We regularly meet young people through outreach, social media and TITG events who are exploring Christianity and looking for a local church.
One of the most common questions we hear is:
“Can you help me find a church?”
We want the answer to be yes.
TITG exists as a bridge, not a replacement, for the local church. We work with churches and Gen Z Christians to create opportunities for outreach, build authentic relationships and help spiritually open young people find communities where they can grow in Christ.
My first time at a ‘This is the Gen’ event was at a games night in London. It was a good opportunity to play some games while interacting with people and being encouraged by their faith. During my interaction with [Aniella], she gave me some church recommendations close to me, which led me to Kings Cross Church (KXC), and I have been attending that church ever since. It’s been a great experience at KXC, the perfect recommendation I would say.

We equip Gen Z Christians for mission, help churches create accessible community spaces and build relational pathways for young people exploring faith.

OUR THREE PILLARS

Our desire is to partner with local churches to encourage young people to evangelise to their generation. We want to equip youth and young adult leaders to create intentional conversations with Gen Z in culturally relevant and relational ways.

Community spaces are often the bridge between outreach and church connection, so we want to resource and encourage Gen Z Christians to unite between churches to host community gatherings in their local area post-outreach.

We hope to see GENZs not only planted in Christ but in local church community, bridging the gap between this spiritually open seeker generation and the local church.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
TITG is a Christian mission centred on Jesus Christ and aligned with the Evangelical Alliance Basis of Faith.
CHURCH UNITY
Preserving truth. Pursuing unity. Exalting Christ.
We believe the Church is one family gathered around Jesus Christ.
Unity does not mean uniformity. Christians come from different cultures, traditions and church expressions, but our deepest identity is found in Christ.
We honour those differences without allowing secondary issues to overshadow the truth we share or the mission Jesus has given us.
Jesus prayed that His followers would be one so that the world would believe.
We therefore pursue a unity rooted in truth, expressed through love and centred on Christ.
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.”
